Indigo

 Theme

Indigo is about innovation and imagination. The rationale behind the theme is that creativity inspires hope and forward thinking, it also provides a form of expression and communication. Children and young people will be adapting to a newly changed world and this theme looks at supporting them in developing creative ideas and finding inspiration for learning.

Consider having a ‘daily dream’ at the start of each day staff encourage pupils to think about a big or small dream and share them with others where they are comfortable. It could be a big dream for the future or what they are hoping to eat for lunch! The idea is to elicit humour and reflection but, also to encourage positivity
