Violet is about finding success, self-worth and feeling in control. The approaches within the violet them are consistent across the age ranges as they address the ‘big’ issues of hearing children’s voices and the voices influencing children such as family and the media, it addresses values in relation to different approaches children will have encountered in response to crisis and finally victory which is about hopefulness and finding success in the face of adversity.

enable pupils to continue to share their voice and work through virtual measn where possible- for some pupils this may have been easier than face to face communciation
